We couldn’t be more pleased with the service and consideration we received from Buster & Cogdell Builders throughout the process of our “we sort of have an idea of what we want to do” phase of transforming our garage into a game room to what evolved into a 900 square foot master suite addition (above the new game room / garage). From recommendations ranging from the architect we ended up using to draw the plans, to the electronics, flooring and fixtures, even the landscaping, they made it easy for people like us who are completely outside our comfort zones in this type of endeavor.

As our project grew we made many changes to the original plans, including expanding the scope of the project to other areas of our home and were never made to feel as though we were a bother and always received prompt responses to our questions and concerns.

Although we thought we’d only live in our 1925 Heights bungalow for a few years because of the smaller size, we decided that we loved our house and lot too much to leave. We had been thinking about renovating for a few years but finally pulled the trigger in March of 2010. Right from the start we were impressed with Buster & Cogdell Builders’ quick responses to our questions and concerns.

Not only did they work with us on various changes in the plans, they were exceptionally accommodating as we lived in the “old” part of the house throughout the construction. Buster & Cogdell Builders did a fantastic job completely renovating our eighty-year-old house in the Heights. We were referred to Buster & Cogdell from a friend who had used them twice previously. After receiving competitive bids from several contractors, we hired Buster & Cogdell because we were impressed with their professionalism.

This is our first home and was the first time either of us took on a project of this size. It was a complete gut job. Buster & Cogdell guided us through the entire remodel. We recently purchased a home with the intentions of building an addition onto the existing structure. Going into our first major remodel project we were not sure what to expect. Buster & Cogdell Builders did a fantastic job of walking us through the entire process. We appreciated their timely responses to our questions and requests.

Buster & Cogdell Builders remodeled my house a few years ago and did a great job. Unfortunately my home flooded in September during Hurricane Ike. I immediately called Buster & Cogdell Builders after the storm. They had their sub-contractors lined up and started work the day after I moved out.

Having previously built two houses and lived in a completed spec home, my impression of many builders is that their concern for margins all too often results in the sacrifice of quality. This, however, was not our experience working with Buster & Cogdell Builders.
